Wyoming contains approximately 155 federal campgrounds offering roughly 2,455 overnight sites managed by three federal agencies. The U.S. Forest Service operates the largest share with 112 campgrounds, followed by the Bureau of Land Management with 30 facilities, and the National Park Service with 13 locations. These campgrounds span diverse landscapes across the state, from mountain forests to high desert terrain.
This directory covers federal campgrounds only. State parks and private campgrounds such as KOA are not included here. Approximately 110 of Wyoming's federal campgrounds accept reservations.
